I have been a racing family for many many years. My husband doesn't hunt, fish, camp, smoke or drink. The one thing he does enjoy is his racing and I will support him in that as long as he wants to do it. There are those who spend just as much money on guns, fishing rods, boats, and campers, and the whole family doesn't get to enjoy his sport, but as a racing family we all get to enjoy.
Fishing and boating and camping and a day at the target range are all family sporting activities are they not ?? or are they a male only activity as you insinuate ??,,,,at least in my family they all are or have been a family activity, but racing is also included. I would say the family activity part just depends on what the family wants to do as a group and not decided by the type of sport.
In my family we can all fish, drive a boat/jet ski, put 10 in the x ring with a .22 or AR-15 and set up a race car.
But family racing is a dam good sport to say the least.
