this is ray houck [track director] acs speedway in corning. we are having a open show july 2nd. the mlra headlines and we are also runing tradition rules [our sept. 24th special] with A and B mods and hobby`s along with our pro-street class. you guys are welcome to come up and race that night in the pro-street class. your rules are legal that night and also for the tradition. whoever wins in the 4 classes that night will be guaranteed a provisional in the tradition A if they fail to qualify in sept. we are having a big fireworks display after the races and if you have a motor home come spend the weekend with us. also as this is a non sanctioned event NO nascar license or any license is needed. thank you and hope to see some of you in july and again sept 24th at the tradition. >ray cell#641-202-4998 also thank you marc for allowing us to post on your forum. tracks working together or getting along is a win/win for everyone.

I think you can count in the 88 and 30 Lakeside cars. I do have a couple of questions in regards to the Adams rules compared to the Lakeside rules. I noticed that Adams rules state the grooving and sipping inside the original tread. Lakeside can groove and sipe as we choose. The second thing i noticed was the weight rule at 3150. Can we run our cars with our tires and 3100 pounds as our rules are stated???

long range weather is clear for next weekend. sooner or later they will get the forecast right. if any of you factory stocks need anything just let me know. my cell is 641-202-4998. the late models with the mlra/ncra/cbc should be awesome. champ auto has added $500 to the hobby stocks making it $475 to win and added money thru the field and all winners get a guaranteed provisonal in our fall tradition plus a big fireworks show. hope to see some of you next weekend and hope your dikes hold. this show is tradition rules for the mods,b-mods which include all imca sport mods, hobbystock and stockcar type cars. rules online at acspeedway.com for all classes and again factory stocks your rule package is legal here for this race and no number fee or license of anykind is needed. thanks again>ray

The 88 and the 30 Lakeside cars are planning on making the trip to Corning this weekend, but we are a little concerned!! I got on the Adams County Speedway website today and looked at the LIVE web feed of the track and it is half under water?? You can see behind the backstretch wall is a river. I continued to check the website all day and the water is getting higher and higher. Does someone have some information on the rising water at Adams County?
Thanks Scott

Scott--Although it might not look that great now come Satruday I am confident you will be making laps around ACS! Forecast for the rest of the week sounds good and the ACS Fair and Race Assoc. are some of the most dedicated people you will find and will have things ready by race time. I believe it was two years ago the track was completely under water up to front stretch wall the Saturday before the July 4th Late Model Special and one week later we were racing! Hope to see lots of Lakeside cars come Saturday night!

Increased purse in ALL classes and NO Nascar license required this Saturday July, 2nd!

yes the river went out but did not go over the track. the water in the infield came from backfill thru the drainage tubes. now the river is down and all the water is leaving with a high and dry forecast. everything is a GO for saturday>ray
