Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Cars Set 2012 Speedweeks Date at Salina Speedway

SALINA, Kan. -- With a new season brings new events for the Salina in Speedway in Salina, Kansas. The upcoming 2012 season will include a first for the track with a Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car series date during one of its Speedweek tours on Thursday August 16.
It will be six years since Sprint Cars have visited the Speedway in what is anticipated to be a huge event. The Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Series is a 360 cubic inch motor winged series that boasts drivers such as Shane Stewart, Johnny Herrera, Brady Bacon, Jeff Swindell, Gary Wright, Tim Crawley, Jason Johnson, Kansan Tony Bruce Jr., Seth Bergman, and Aaron Reutzel. The series averages over 50 cars per event.
Admission prices will be $20 for Adults, Kids 6-12 $5, and Kids under 6 are FREE. Pit passes will be $30.
Pit gates will open at 4:00PM, Grandstands at 5:30PM, Hot Laps at 6:30PM, and racing at 7:30PM.
Support divisions for the event will be announced at a later date.
