Auto Accident Derails ITP Broadcast Debut For 2010

Silver Lake, KS - Just like in most sports some times you have to call an audible. Sometimes it's not what you want to do, but it's what you must do. This past Friday night Jr., from In The Pits, and his daughter, Kendra, were victims of a hit and run on Highway 24 in Topeka, KS.

As Jr. recovers and tries to get things lined back up, the team at ITP has decided to push back the start of the "In The Pits Live" Sunday night broadcasts to Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010.

"With the SuperBowl coming up next weekend and the ITP Daytona 500 Watch Party the next weekend, this seemed like the only solution," said John Lowrey of ITP.

Once the broadcast debuts on the 28th, In The Pits Live will run weekly for the entire year. Some shows will be taped, while the rest of the shows will be done live.

This year several new audio and video shows will be online here at ITP. In the coming weeks the rest of the racing season lineup will be announced. Be sure to check back at www.inthepits.net for all your local race coverage.
